With a 19-point first quarter on the strength of a 15-5 run, Northmont Thunderbolts pulled ahead early, eventually claiming a 25-24 lead by halftime. But this wasn’t enough to overcome Butler’s 31 points in the final two quarters of the game.
E. Mangen was the leader of Northmont’s offense with 15 points, including seven during the first period. She also contributed three rebounds, two steals and one block.
