Swimmers Medal at GWOC All Conference Meet and Break 2 School Records

On Thursday night at Trotwood Aquatic Center, 15 Thunderbolts qualified for the GWOC All Conference swim meet. On the girls side, Karlee Kreusch, Fynn Roberts, Maddy Myers, Liv Jones, Abby Gutierrez, Lauren Eck, Isabelle Caraway, and Jenna Bowser competed. The boys were represented by Josiah English, Justin Parrett, Justin DeLano, Neil Arsenio, Jim Studebaker, Eric Woods, and Bobby Gaylor.

The boys started off strong making the podium and placing 8th in the 200 yard medley relay (Josiah English, Justin Parrett, Justin DeLano, Neil Arsenio). The girls place 14th in the same event (Karlee Kreusch, Fynn Roberts, Maddy Myers, Liv Jones).

Justin Parrett broke his third school record of the season in the 200 yard freestyle and placing 4th overall with a time of 1:49.22. Next up was Justin DeLano, he broke his second school record of the year in the 100 yard butterfly and placing 4th overall with a time of 54.42. Fynn Roberts made the podium placing 4th overall in the 100 yard breastroke with an amazing time of 1:10.91Parrett made the podium for the second time individually in the 100 yard breastroke placing 6th. DeLano placed 10th in the 500 yard freestyle.

The boys placed 13th in the 200 yard freestyle relay (Josiah English, Bobby Gaylor, Eric Woods, Jim Studebaker). The girls 200 yard freestyle relay placed 15th (Lauren Eck, Jenna Bowser, Isabelle Caraway, Liv Jones).

The boys 400 yard freestyle relay finished off the night with a 10th place finish (Neil Arsenio, Eric Woods, Justin DeLano, Justin Parrett) and the girls 400 yard freestyle relay was 12th (Abby Gutierrez, Karlee Kreusch, Maddy Myers, Fynn Roberts).
