Northmont Cinches GWOC First Place

The Northmont Boys Bowling Team won against Miamisburg at Thunderbowl Lanes on February 15th to cinch the GWOC West title for first Place.  During their regular match, the T-Bolts bowled a total of 2124, beating Miamisburg by 81 pins.  The T-Bolts bowled an additional 435 to Miamisburg’s 421 in their baker games for an overall score of 2559 for Northmont and 2464 for Miamisburg.  Leading the way for the T-Bolts was Wyatt Meyers with games of 237 and 235 for a 472 series.  He was followed by Steve Kocher with games of 233 and 215 for a 448 series, Johnathan King with games of 226 and 209 for a 415 series and Tyler Blackwell with games 168 and 237 for a 405 series.  Bradlee Fritz also bowled a 191 game.  This match was also senior night, and attendees honored Trevor Anderson and Tyler Dock from the JV team and Steve Kocher, Tyler Blackwell, Wyatt Meyers and Johnathan King who were all escorted to the lanes by their parents.

The T-Bolts Varsity Team will bowl again on Saturday at the GWOC post season tournament at Poelking South at 9 AM.
