Multiple Teams · Coach Domsitz and Coach Zolman inducted into the MVFCA Hall of Fame

Coach Ed Domsitz was inducted into the Miami Valley Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame on Friday, June 9th.  The ceremony took place at half time of the North/South All-Star game held at Centerville stadium.


Coach Domsitz was the head football coach for the Thunderbolts from 1988 to 1998. Coach Domsitz compiled a 53-55-0 record which included two League Championships in 1992 and 1995.  Coach Domsitz also lead the Thunderbolts to their first ever playoff appearance in the 1992 season.

Coach Domsitz is currently the head football coach at Archbishop Alter were he has compiled a 245-60 record and has taken the Knights to the playoffs 19 times including two State Championships in 2008 and 2009.  Coach Domsitz has an overall 318-143 record in his 41 year coaching career.


Coach Bob Zolman was also inducted to the Miami Valley Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame.  Coach Zolman coached the running backs at Northmont in 1999 and from 2004 to 2007.  Coach Zolman has 43 years of coaching experience including 8 as a head coach.
