@WSUBaseball Cruises to Weekend Sweep

For the second straight day, Wright State (7-4) rolled to a blowout victory over Ohio University (3-10). After a 13-0 shutout victory on Saturday, the Raiders returned to Nischwitz Stadium and defeated Ohio 12-1.

1st Inning
Tristan Haught made his first career start for Wright State and set down the Bobcats in a scoreless first. In the home half, JD Orrtook the first Ohio pitch of the game to center field for a single.  The senior swiped his eighth and ninth bases on the season to end up at third, and Peyton Burdick and Zane Harrisdrew walks to load the bases for Seth Gray. Gray hit a ball off the top of the wall in right for a 2-RBI double. Zach Weatherfordcontinued the onslaught with a deep fly ball over the head of the Bobcat left fielder and ended up on third, scoring two more runs. Damon Dues executed a successful sac fly to conclude the five-run first for the Raiders.
