Covid-19 Travel Restrictions

July 31, 2020

Northmont High School would like to share the following information with all of our families in an effort to provide a safe and healthy environment for our students, student-athletes, coaches and all other employees.  Per Gov. DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health, employees and students traveling to states that are considered by the Ohio Department of Health to be “hot spots,” should either quarantine for 14 days upon returning from travel, or quarantine until a negative Covid-19 test is provided to the schools.  Athletes should contact their coach when returning from travel, and the coach, administration and athletic training staff will work to coordinate a safe return.

More specifically, athletes traveling to any of the “hot spot” states listed below, should contact their coach to inform them of their traveling situation.

The Ohio Department Health, as of July 29th, has identified the following states as hot spots:

Florida

South Carolina

Arizona

Idaho

Mississippi

Alabama

Kansas
