Coach Mergler shared the following sentiments regarding his time as Head Coach of the Northmont Girls Soccer program.

Northmont Community,

I just want to say “Thank you to my soccer community for your support over the last twenty years of my coaching career.  We have shared many memories of highs and heartbreaks.  No matter if we were on our journey to conference championships or years of struggles, I had many moments that I will never forget. I will still continue my part in developing our youth for the Gunners Futbol Club and hope to return one day to High School coaching in the future.  My four children keep me plenty busy, coaching two of them and watching the other two compete for their own teams.  I want to thank the many coaches I have coached side by side or across the field from.  Through coaching, I have found many new friends for life.  I wish all the current players the best of luck in what I feel will be a very successful season ahead.  I ask you to live your life with purpose, to look out for your teammates and coaches, have fun, and to find faith.

Thank you, Coach Mergler for your hard work and dedication to Northmont Soccer!  #GoBolts
