Game Recap

The Bolts continued a suspended game from April 5 and defeated Fairborn 8-7 in 8 innings. After a rain filled week, thanks to the Fairborn baseball coaching staff and players, the Bolts were able to finish the game on Saturday May 6. The game picked up in the top of the second inning with the score tied at 2-2. The Bolts were able to put 12 hits together and bring in 8 runs across the plate. Ryan Pullins started the game on April 5 and continued to pitch to the 6th inning today. Collin Hobert came in relief and picked up his first win (1-0). Dylan Guth was 3/3 and a double, Garrett McGough and Nick Moomey 2/4. The Bolts are now 14-8. On Monday they travel to Miamisburg for a 4:30 start. Wednesday they Host Wayne at the Yard.

Thunderbolts News · Which region’s high schools had the strongest NFL Draft? – Presented by VNN


The NFL Draft took place last week in Philadelphia. Held on the Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, it was the first draft held entirely outdoors, and was the most attended in history with more than 250,000 people attending. Over three days, all 32 NFL teams chose players who they hope could be the future of their franchise.

In the next few pages, check out all the players drafted by their hometown high school, and vote for the region you think has grown the strongest draft class!

Game Recap

JV Thunderbolts Wins Back-And-Forth Affair Against Miamisburg
JV Thunderbolts defeated Miamisburg 20-10 in a back-and-forth affair on Wednesday. The JV Thunderbolts were down 8-7 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Hannah Seagraves singled off of K Zinn, driving in two runs.
Caroline Stanaway collected four hits in four at bats to help lead JV Thunderbolts to victory. Stanaway doubled in the first, singled in the second, doubled in the fourth, and singled in the fourth.
Miamisburg took an early lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for Miamisburg.
After Miamisburg scored two runs in the top of the fifth, JV Thunderbolts answered with two of their own. Miamisburg scored when K Zinn doubled off of Hannah Seagraves, driving in two runs.
Miamisburg scored four runs in the third inning. Miamisburg’s big inning was driven by a double by J Shwabe, a single by E Dorr, and a walk by H Watkins.
Seagraves earned the win for JV Thunderbolts. She went one and one-third innings, allowing four runs, four hits, striking out two, and walking one.
Chloe Kautz started the game for JV Thunderbolts. She tossed three and two-thirds innings, giving up six runs, two hits, and striking out four.
JV Thunderbolts had 22 hits in the game. Stanaway, Madison Gilvin, Jennifer Bole, Sarah Moomey, Lindsey Mutter, Kaylee Wood, and Seagraves each collected multiple hits for JV Thunderbolts.
Shwabe led Miamisburg with two hits in four at bats. Miamisburg tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. A Lemenski led the way with three.

JV Thunderbolts Jumps Out To Early Lead In Victory Over Miamisburg
JV Thunderbolts grabbed an early lead on its way to a 10-7 victory over Miamisburg on Tuesday. JV Thunderbolts scored on a double by Emma Bodiker in the first inning, a line drive home run by Caroline Stanaway in the first inning, and a double by Sarah Moomey in the second inning.
Both offenses were strong at the plate as JV Thunderbolts collected seven hits and Miamisburg nine
JV Thunderbolts captured the lead in the first inning. Emma Bodiker doubled on a 2-1 count in the first inning, scoring one run.
Miamisburg scored three runs in the third inning. The big inning for Miamisburg came thanks to a double by A Lemenski and a single by J Shuabe.
Hannah Seagraves earned the win for JV Thunderbolts. She pitched seven innings, allowing seven runs, nine hits, and striking out eight.
Caroline Stanaway and Sarah Moomey each drove in two runs to lead JV Thunderbolts.
K Zinn, R Dale, and E Smith each collected multiple hits for Miamisburg.

Seagraves Throws Shutout As JV Thunderbolts Defeats Fairmont
Hannah Seagraves didn’t allow a single run as JV Thunderbolts defeated Fairmont 6-0 on Friday. Seagraves allowed just three hits and got A Haskins to hit into a fielder’s choice and the game was suspended due to lightning in the bottom of the 5th inning.

Sierra Caskey, Madison Gilvin, Emily Frantz, Caroline Stanaway, Jennifer Bole, and Kaylee Wood each drove in one run to lead JV Thunderbolts.

JV Thunderbolts Jumps Out To Early Lead In Victory Over Butler
JV Thunderbolts jumped out to an early lead over Butler and took home a 13-10 victory on Thursday. JV Thunderbolts scored on a triple by Hannah Seagraves in the first inning, a single by Emily Frantz in the first inning, a error in the first inning, a double by Seagraves in the second inning, and a single by Frantz in the second inning.
Both offenses were strong at the plate as JV Thunderbolts collected 18 hits and Butler 15
JV Thunderbolts captured the lead in the first inning.
Butler scored five runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for Butler came thanks to a single , a double by M. Allen, and a single by Kroeker.
Marah Blosser earned the win for JV Thunderbolts. She tossed seven innings, giving up ten runs, 15 hits, striking out two, and walking one.
Chloe Kautz, Hannah Seagraves, Evynne Johnson, Jillian Dean,Marah Blosser, and Emily Frantz each collected multiple hits for JV Thunderbolts. Seagraves and Kautz each managed three hits to lead JV Thunderbolts.
Allen, Conley, Kroeker, N Brown, Roberts, and J.Steinke each collected multiple hits for Butler. Kroeker went 2-for-5 at the plate as she led the team with three runs batted in.

Seagraves Throws Shutout As JV Thunderbolts Defeats Centerville
Hannah Seagraves didn’t allow a single run as JV Thunderbolts defeated Centerville 20-0 on Friday. Seagraves allowed just one hit and struck out E. Gillespie to end the game.
An early lead helped propel JV Thunderbolts to victory. JV Thunderbolts scored on a single by Lindsey Mutter, an error, a single by Caroline Stanaway, an error, a fielder’s choice by Jennifer Bole, a walk , an error, and a groundout by Mutter in the first inning.
JV Thunderbolts captured the lead in the first inning. Mutter singled on the first pitch of the at bat in the first inning, scoring one run.
A single by J. Delossantos in the fifth inning was a positive for Centerville.
JV Thunderbolts collected 14 hits. Stanaway, Emily Frantz, and Mutter each collected multiple hits for JV Thunderbolts. Hannah Seagraves, Frantz, and Mutter each drove in three runs to lead JV Thunderbolts. JV Thunderbolts was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Stanaway had the most chances in the field with nine.
Delossantos went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Centerville in hits.
