The Lady Bolts season concluded in the District Finals against Anderson after beating Stebbins in the District Semi-Finals.
On Thursday, October 23rd the Lady Bolts faced Stebbins in the district semi-finals in a late night match at 7:45PM. The Bolts dominated the first two sets against the Indians as they couldn't slow down the offensive threat of the Lady Bolts. In the first two sets, the Bolts applied a lot of service pressure and the Indians couldn't respond which allowed them to break away and go on big runs. The first two sets scores were 25-11, 25-8. In the third set, the Bolts threw out a different line up and the Indians started picking up the Bolts serves and it allowed them to get their offense going and tested the Bolts but the Bolts stayed ahead and won the 3rd set 25-18.
In the District Final the Bolts faced the Anderson Raptors out of Cincinnati. The Anderson Raptors came in with a 14-7 record and the Bolts came in with a record of 13-9. The Bolts recently scrimmaged Brookville and won in 5 sets which allowed them to prepare for the offensive threat of a team having a really good outside hitter like Anderson does. This allowed the Bolts to slow down their good outside and force Anderson to set their other hitters. The Bolts lost the first set 18-25 due to the serving pressure by Anderson. In the second set, the Raptors were on fire all around and the Bolts couldn't get a good pass to get their hitters in system which allowed Anderson to break away and win 13-25. In the third set, the Bolts knew it was now or never and started passing better and getting the offense going. This sparked energy from the Bolts and they were able to get on runs and fight back. The score got to 20-20 and Anderson went on a serving run that the Bolts couldn't respond from and it allowed them to win the match, 21-25. This ended the Bolts season in the District Finals as the District Finals Runner-Up for the second year in a row.
The Bolts finished their season 14-10 overall, and 8-6 in conference.
