Bolts Drop Opener to New Albany

The Northmont Boys Basketball Team lost a tough season opener to New Albany in the Ohio Valley Hoops Classic 60-55 in double overtime.  The Bolts led by as many as 15 points in the first half, before New Albany made a run in the 2nd half to tie the game and send it to overtime.

The Northmont varsity girls started their season off at the Red & Blue Classic in Columbus. Despite being in 1st place after 3 Team games Whitehall-Yearling was able to gain ground during the 6 Baker games to take 1st place. Northmont finished 2nd out of 19 teams, 60 pins behind Whitehall.
