The Lady Bolts defeated Springboro Wednesday night 63-60. The Bolts were off to an early lead in the first quarter led by Katie McCrary with 11 first quarter points. The Bolts kept the led the entire game continued to hold off Springboro despite their best effort to comeback. Northmont had four players score double digits led by McCrary-20 points, MaKayla Cooper-13 points, Camryn Nadir-11 points, Shalaya Heath-11 points. Coming off the bench as the Bolts got in some foul trouble was Kamorah Ryhlick with some great defense to help boost the Thunderbolts to a victory. Also, contributing to the Bolts victory were Jacquel Bronaugh-6 points and Gabby Kline-2 points. Overall, Northmont shot 53% from the Field and added 6 three pointers, shooting 67% from beyond the arc. Northmont improves their record to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the GWOC. Come out to Trent Arena Saturday evening at the Bolts take on Fairmont, Jv tips off at 6 pm.
